Disconnect RepairStream from QuickBooks
You can disconnect at any time, from either side. Disconnecting from within RepairStream is the cleaner of the two, because it revokes our access with Intuit directly.
From the RepairStream app
- Open the RepairStream app.
- Tap Operations in the bottom tab bar.
- Tap Settings.
- Scroll to Integrations.
- Find QuickBooks and tap Disconnect.
What disconnecting does
- Revokes our access token with Intuit. RepairStream calls Intuit’s token revocation endpoint, so the authorization you granted is withdrawn at Intuit rather than merely forgotten by us.
- Stops all syncing immediately. No further customers, invoices or payment updates are sent to or read from QuickBooks Online.
- Turns off QuickBooks as a payment route. Invoice emails stop offering QuickBooks Payments as a way to pay. If you also have Stripe or Square connected, those continue to work.
What disconnecting does not do
- Nothing already in QuickBooks Online is deleted or changed. Customers, invoices and payments that were synced stay exactly as they are, in your books, under your control.
- Nothing in RepairStream is deleted. Your jobs, customers and invoices are untouched.
- Payments already taken are unaffected, and remain refundable through whichever processor originally handled them.
From the QuickBooks side
You can also remove the connection from within QuickBooks Online: open Apps, find RepairStream in your connected apps, and disconnect it there.
The effect is the same — syncing stops. If you disconnect from the QuickBooks side, RepairStream may briefly still show QuickBooks as connected until it next tries to reach Intuit and finds the authorization gone.
Reconnecting
Disconnecting is not permanent. You can connect again whenever you like, and use Sync All Data to push anything raised while you were disconnected.
