RepairStream + QuickBooks
RepairStream connects to QuickBooks Online so the work you already record in your shop reaches your books without being typed twice.
What the integration does
- Syncs customers. A customer you create in RepairStream is created in QuickBooks Online, and matched to an existing QuickBooks customer where one already exists.
- Syncs invoices. Invoices raised in RepairStream are pushed to QuickBooks Online with their line items, so your revenue lands in your books as it is billed.
- Lets customers pay through QuickBooks Payments. If QuickBooks Payments is enabled on your QuickBooks account, the “Pay Now” link on a RepairStream invoice email takes your customer to QuickBooks’ own hosted payment page. When they pay, the invoice is marked paid in RepairStream automatically.
What it does not do
RepairStream reads and writes customers, invoices and payment status. It does not touch your chart of accounts, payroll, banking, or anything else in your QuickBooks company file.
Requirements
- A QuickBooks Online account.
- The RepairStream iOS app, signed in as the shop owner. Connecting QuickBooks is owner-only — team members cannot connect or disconnect it.
- For customer payments through QuickBooks: QuickBooks Payments enabled on your QuickBooks account. Without it, the rest of the sync still works.
